Painting Again ...

These frames are actually a picture taken apart... (the picture, matt, and the frame). It gives me two frames to wrap canvas on.. and a painted picture, to paint over top of. Thanks to my friend June! They'll be biggies... Flowers again? We'll see!

I think I'm gonna wrap this one up,, somtimes sticking at it too long is over kill... and I think I'm happy with it at this point! I painted on a boarder in white and gold.

I went to Kingston to visit Jord for the last couple of days. He took me to a real nice, huge, art store which had everything. He must have known I was thinking of picking up the brush again. I can't seem to find supplies around Trenton, so I jumped at the opportunity to get some new brushes, an eisle, and some paints... $$$ I will keep adding paintings and proceedings to this post area
as things hopefully progress.

I was impressed with his apartment, and Jake and Jord seem to get along very well. We ate out "a lot" while I was there... As we all know, I'm relentless with the Prime Rib, which I had at "the Grizzley Grill" on main Princess Street... $19.50..... and no soup, salad or juice included.... No choice of potatoe neither... also, a different planet to what our excellent prime rib is like! Jord had the Salmon, and as we swapped forks... I almost spit out his salmon, very 'gamey' or 'bad' tasting,,, however he said he was fine with it! (amature!) I maintain, I haven't tasted prime rib as terrific as the Golden Valleys anywhere, I guess I should stop disappointing myself by trying it elsewhere! The weather turned bad on us... WIND and FLURRYS,,, I would much rather walk the town and window shop on a more pleasant weather day... and look forward to it!

My sister Brenda has been in China for a couple of years now... teaching English to the natives. Her blog has been giving her problems... I suggested we use mine in the meantime... Unfortunately I have little description of some of the pics!

Later on in the show... Aliki and Jord were pulled up on stage... since we were front row centre... they danced... I declined so that I could sit back and laugh!

Beautiful plush greens... bananna and coconut trees line our walkway, in whatever direction we walk.... as they cascade up to our balconys... so do the Gecko's and other lizards which draw our attention, as they hold onto the trunks, look at us, and bolt in another direction.

Workers constantly "up a tree" cutting down the coconuts, chopping the tops off with huge macheddies, as we wait, poking a hole in the top... Handing you a straw and the healthy treat! Such an art the way they do it so swiftly,,, but then they've done it 1000's of times!

We're too old to be Charlies angels... after all, he must be dead by now! But we all know we're angels,,, none the less!

Aliki out snorkling.... it's all inclusive and the fish need to eat tooo... so she loads up with buns from the buffet to feed her new friends... twenty feet off of the beach where our resort sits.. An abundant amount of time... and an abundant amount of buffet food,, were appreciated by all at this sweet spot! ............ "Can you see Gus???",, "I can't see Gus,,, do you see the kids???"... "I can't see the frikken kids... their at the reef feeding the fish...."... "OK, No problem.... am I gettin burnt???"... "Naw your not getting burnt!" ........... Roll over.... .... .... .... .... "So do you see Gus?"... "NOPE" "the kids????" .... "Nope".... "dinner time soon eh?" "INDEED!" "I wouldn't go topless if I looked like that eh??" ... "nope, me neither! ... thats why I have a top on!" "Here comes Pedro...... "GLUG GLUGG GLUGGG..... GLUGEEEEEEEEEEO!!!" As he carrys a tray of drinks to anyone who wants them.... (Gus says GLUGG is the world wide expression for swallowing drinks!) I think he's correct! I didn't want a drink, but it was always nice to see Pedro... a sweet short guy, who wore MANY hats.... so we always waved,,, and he brought us drinks! He was on stage a lot, and danced with Aliki many times.... what a comedian!

I will coooke yoo dis un laydee! It be as red as you, when it cook!
